So i had a busy weekend but i was able to squeeze in some cot50 rocking and man it sounds sweet. Its really nice and transparent and not a very aggressive overdrive. More subtle but it was exactly what i was looking for for bluesy kinda stuff. I prefer it in the overdrive mode more than the treble boost mode but overall its a great sounding pedal, not to mention how it looks, really nice job Mike!

No worries dude, glad you like it. I think it would be really ideally suited to the stuff you're using it for, and I think you'd much prefer the modded version I made to the original, which is more on the trebly side of things.

Afraid not, and they're not that expensive, so I doubt I could make one for cheaper

Dinosauria - your pedal casing is painted, decal'd and lacquered now. I'll probably build the circuit into it on Friday or Saturday after it has cured sufficiently.

Yup, I have the schematic already. I could try prototyping it.

i'm in that maybe stage at the moment. i think a hot cake would be a good replacement for a blues driver. i can't remember what it's based on.

It's an overdrive design, it's supposed to sound Voxy, it's a good mid gain overdrive as far as I know.
