becuz i am proud
i have to repost this from the "post pics" thread.
i have recieved my first official vinatage fender, even if it is a "partscaster"
its still pretty cool
22.5 musicmaster neck.
59 duo body with bridge and guard.
re-finished in shell pink, i bought it off of bubbles for 600 and some change.
i had to do a bit of nut work and fret work to get it where i liked it, and it needs a lil more, but besides that its my new favorite.
yeah, i took out the screws, im aging the bastards in salt water and pee
nevermind the neckplate, im in seach of a vintage one, or i'll settle for the one im aging right now.
the neck wear and tuner wear is SEXY! anyone got a 59/60 white head kluson for the high e?
pencil dates are so fucking cool.
overal the neck is chunkier than i expected and the nut width is much smaller than i expected, i have not gotten around to properly measuring everything yet, but once i do i plan on making a repro neck to the same specs.

dog piss works the best
lets have a dissusion on what kind of piss works best for aging guitar parts.
i havnn't tried cat piss. cats are kinda picky where they take a leak. at least mine are. if i tried to get them to piss in a bucket i don't think it would work
give me 2 days with any random dog and ill have a full bucket for you

sk3p, have you smoked crack in the last few days?
thats the original metal guard, just painted white.
the neck is amazing.
its fatter than i thought it would be but its nowhere near a gibson styled neck.
if i play in indy, you betta believe i will let you know.
altho if i play in indy the i'll probly play with jack and jill and that will be straight acoustic stuff.
but if i know your there i will bring the duo.
