That the availability from the behringer website...I guess we are in the Q4 but I havent heard anything. on the floor it looks like the vintage tube monster. I made benecol think I had one when he saw the picture of my pedals. so it could of been that.

Its not the deluxe muff, it has no compression for a start..and it has a tube for a finnish. I have it and its a very nice distortion. I used it in the jaguar pickup demo thing I did. set on very low gain setting.

I won't buy one before trying it, specially because everyone in my country thinks behringer=shit, so i probably would have to keep it for lifeDuoSonicBoy wrote:They're listed as in stock on a few UK and German websites. They're illegal here in the US, though. I found one site that had a few, but they wanted >$100.
It's probably exactly the same as the real thing - I say go for it.
?? Just that specific model?DuoSonicBoy wrote: They're illegal here in the US, though.
Those footswitches are boss-style PCB mounted ones with fake spring-driven tops on, btw. Wouldn't bother me but the bypass on the big muff copy is welllll shit and I don't know how to change it.

If you don't mind keeping the stock bypass scheme, you could just hack in a higher quality momentary (normally off) footswitch. Otherwise, you would have to at least take the PCB mounted jacks off and disable the LOGiC circuit.

You don't have to disable the circuit at all. You just switch it on and then wire it in TB style.DuoSonicBoy wrote:A couple of 'em are, Time Machine is the only one that comes to mind.paul_ wrote:?? Just that specific model?DuoSonicBoy wrote: They're illegal here in the US, though.

In most schemes I think you do have to disable it (at least you have to in Dano minis and BOSS). Otherwise you'd just be switching between true bypass and buffered bypass. It's not a big deal - there should be lots of information on the DIY stompboxes forum.Mike wrote:You don't have to disable the circuit at all.
