This is really not what i imagined this guy to look like. This is like finally seeing someone you have heard on the radio for ages. Nice video though.

I've been curious about that amp for a while now. Cool video. I'd love to hear it with humbuckers too.

i can't see the youtube link as i'm at work... but i'm presuming a) it's a demo of a fender hot rod deluxe and b) mike is taking the piss...

as far as humbuckers go- i let a band use mine at a gig last weekend, the guy had a 'westone(?)' guitar with about 3 humbuckers on it and it was the single worst guitar sound i've ever heard. so i wouldn't recommend it.

(my guitar sounded completely fine through it)

That might be the worst sounding tube amp I've heard. Does anyone else think it sounds really flat? It doesn't have any of the sparkly/spanky Fender stuff happening.

I've seen a couple of bands that have used them for a dirty punk/hardcore sound. I dig the sounds you can get for that style.
