the guitar is amazing quite an upgrade from the 69 reissues
completely different guitar
the neck pup is really really nice im keeping it stock
but im not so fond of the bridge pup
any bridge pup suggestions
think along the lines strat sized buckers

back to the original topic: if it says "offset contour body" on the headstock, assuming it's the original neck, doesn't that mean it has a contour on the body? therefore a '69 RI?

Some necks have that sticker even though the body doesn't have contours. My neck is dated 65 B and has "offset contour body" on the headstock but hasn't a countour to speak of.

^ +1 same here. neck heal read 8JUN65B and has a offset contour decal.
My other vintage stang neck reads 16MAR66B and doesnt have the contour decal. ?? i guess the just put them whereever and whenever
