This is why projects should be left to people with taste:

Fender Jaguar Project

In trying to identify what's the ugliest part of this monstrosity I found 6 - check out the tuners.

Manufacturer: Framus
Framus jaguars look like that anyway.

Yo, I kinda dig that, though...

Yep, even the art deco, foot-like headstock.
The only thing I'd change is the guard. That thing NEEDS to be black.

i LOVE the look of those framus guitars. maybe not that weird headstock shape, but the fender-esque one...

Shipping: US $458.18
a misplaced decimal point or sheer mentalism?

I wouldn't play it, but it's a good copy.
I like the tuners, too.

Red is not the best colour for that guitar, but otherwise I like it plenty.

Obligatory link to the Framus Museum which has loads of cool shit like this:

Oh shit that's cool looking. I wouldn't touch it, save for any wiring problems. Those tuner backs are hysterical.

I think I like it. For some reason I love the space-age tuners.

That black one is even nicer in person. Actually my single favourite guitar in the Framus Museum. Hollow and offset. Soooo cool.

Suppose I came across one of those black hollow offsets, how much would I be looking at to buy it? £300-500?
Shabba.

Dunnope. They cost tons in Germany, which is where I saw quite a few of the sunburst offset and non-offset Framus semis. Actually never seen a black one on ebay or anywhere else except for the museum, so I'd guess you'd be bidding against a few other people should one ever materialise.
