i can't imagine that being the case, but so long as they function properly, i'm not bothered.

I remember reading on some site dealing with Matamps and older amps of that sort where it said it wasn't uncommon for the chassis to be bent in by the transformers because of how heavy they were.

put some new knobs on today. the little ones are only temporary as they are too small, but they were the closest thing i could find at apex this morning. i saw the right kind at an electronics swap meet in redondo beach, but in my infinite wisdom i decided that i didn't need them. now i have to wait til the end of the month for the next one.
