I can swear that when I bought it, it had those Roman numerals affixed to the end of the moniker. But I've just gone to the Squier website, and I'm not seeing it.

I will be amending my sig to reflect the fact that I own a 'Jagmaster' as opposed to a 'Jagmaster II'.

I'ne never heard of them being called Jagmaster II's. I have the longer scale, Chinese one, and it deifinitely doesn't say it on the headstock.

Correct. The headstock on mine only reads "Squier Jagmaster". The "II" thing was strictly something I saw on the internet, either on the Squier website or one of the "Big-3" website. Can't remember.

Suppose it sort of makes sense that some people would call them I's and II's. It's jsut something I've never heard of.
