Hey guys. I hadn't come on here in a while and I came on the other week for a bit and realised I had a bunch of PM's regarding this.
Well, truth is, I still don't have a proper camera. And the weather has been really up and down lately, but I'll try take some on the weekend.
Anyway, here's the pics I took prior to the pickups arriving. Obviously considering it's been a month or so, I've been playing it the whole time and it really is an absolute joy to play. The touch, the feel... when people describe their perfect guitars, they don't often reflect on the persons individual needs and wants(as oddly as that sounds). Especially given that I've set the baby up, and done basically everything else bar actually making the thing, so I know it inside and out.

Anyways, here it is pre-pickups. As soon as it's nice, sunny, I'm at home (yay daylight savings) and the cameras in my possession newer pics will be posted.

That's why I had it strung up two weeks prior to getting the pickups. Just so I could play it over and over till I got used to feel and all the parts sat in nicely. I never quite liked the 'new' guitar feel so I made sure this was definitely played in by the time it was all wired. That pic was a couple months ago, like I said.

Finally, some pr0n~! I got the camera off my sister finally and it was decent enough weather to get some sunlight in the peektures. Compare it to the last one, where it was in my room with flash, and the colour looks considerably different. It's really 'pastely'.

And a group shot just because. The neck on the Tele looks a bit anemic in this photo but it's anything but! It's tinted to f00k. :)

That's fucking GORGEOUS. You did a real good job on the relicing - it actually looks natural.

Thanks a tonne dudes. The relicing was something that I wanted at a bare minimum... simply because I wanted it to FEEL worn in, not aesthetically look worn in. So I took a lot of time playing and documenting areas that I played the most and focused my "relicing" on those. Then I just sped up the process and used 'unnatural' methods (i.e. relicing) on areas I'd normally use hence the guitar would feel worn in "to me"... maybe not to someone else who might hold it different or play a different style.

Sounds kind of far fetched but that's what I'd hoped for. This is the be all and end all of guitars for me in every single aspect. Nothing was spared, so I'm really happy with the outcome. And man, does it fucking rawk with the BoR and Vox... next project? Re-house the Vox footpedal into a smaller enclosure a la BoR and hand paint it and also buy a reverb bag/tank as I currently don't have one. The reverb pot was taken over by the 'tone-cut' circuit (like the ac30's) and I'll eventually move that to the back chassis, and hookup the (new and improved accustronics) reverb in and gasp at all it's glory. :)
