Ok, this is going to sound CRAZY, but the guitar is actually what it says in the title. The name of the brand is "ZIM GAR".
I first stumbled upon them when a pickguard for one came up in an ebay search for a different weird 60s guitar I had. I saw the style and switches and had to google it.
Unfortunately there's not much out there on them, I found this picture of another one on google though.
