In my sunn head it has a reverb tank that you have to use RCA cables to attach it. the out worked fine, but my guitar signal isn't getting fed through. I took it apart and found this.
you can see the green wire going from the reverb in to the little box coily thing, and on the other side are the blue and red wires. they were taped off and went to nothing. I'm guessing that's the problem. where do they go ???

That little thing is the transformer?!?!? Jesus... I need to take a picture of the inside of my Ampeg SVT 2 Pro and show you guys how fucking massive the transformers in that thing are. There's two of them and they're each about half the size of my head... it makes the amp weigh about 100 pounds... it's fucking ridiculous but it sounds so amazing?

It's not the transformer for the amp proper. Power and Output Transformers are considerably larger. Bass Amps moreso.

yeah, this thing has HUGE transformers too, and weighs like 2 bassman heads
holy crap. I got my head back today, it was really messed up. One of the power tubes didn't work and it had some wrong tubes in it. and a burned up cap. So the guy calls me up and tells me well your amp was pretty screwed up but now it sounds great. that thing was only playing at 1/3 of its volume before. and he was right
