haha, no, just a hotrodded linear power booster, actually, it's got a lot to do with Hair of The Dog, but that one got built after the duofuzz.

he duo fuzz actually has a really harsh gate, and kind of crappy sustain, it needs a clean booster in front of it. :( but it is awesome for slamming other effects- turn bass fuzz into nightmare bag of cats.

Here is my 1965 sonic blue duosonic. I replaced the locking tuners with vintage. It is a thing to behold. The edges are just slightly yellowed. Some of the all original metal pieces almost looked too new for the rest of it. It had been sitting under the bed in the OG case for 25 years.

Stunning.

BTW, I love that you included a close-up of the pickguard screws in the photo montage.

I need to see that thing from the other end!

Mine is going on the auction block if I ever sort my shit out. I guess it shouldn't be, but we have to make sacrifices for the greater good.

Yeah I am - got this a couple of years ago - was in a shop in town for a decent price and so I thought I'd jump on it and stash it under my bed to gather value.
It's all original, and got the original case too. Really nice to play - I do so regularly (well, as well as I can play a righty!).
One for the retirement/redundancy fund...

it looks rather delicious. i had my eye on one of those a few years back and the prices have gone, as usual, a bit crazy in the past year or two. you used to get them for shitpence.
