Definitely interested in this; however, my experience of their Vintage Phaser has put me off their "Vintage" line. It sounded great, but awful construction with a terrible footswitch, and poor bypass (I could hear the phaser modulation even when it was disengaged).
Good thing i'm totally broke, this way i can wait for the reviews. If it's true bypass, and if the delay is has good sounding has the vintage time machine i'm definably buying one

Yes they lie about their bypass but they call it "hardwire bypass" or "passive bypass" or something silly. What they do is what hundreds of other designs do and just switch the output from the board output to the jack input using a DPDT (the other pole flipping the LED), so the effect is hanging on the input the whole time, hence a lack of treble.

Someone on the DIY board tried to change the switch and found it was just an actuator pressing against a momentary switch.
Is that what you mean by "Virtual Buffered Bypass"? Because none of those words really refer to the switching arrangement you've described - particularly Virtual - that's a new one on me in electronics.
Buffered = BOSS style
Virtual = buzzword which basically means "not-true". It can either be output switching (like old fuzzes), output switching coupled with a high impedance input buffer (like the new Crybabys), or just another way of saying Buffered.
I don't think they even advertised the VD-1 as True Bypass but some bullshit like True Vinatge Bypass. Which I guess wouldn't be bullshit cause the OG Big muff wasn't true bypass.
I'm sure they put some combo of true and bypass in there purposely, for mojo arrows.
