It's an interesting story. I was thinking about getting a custom guitar built - pretty much equivalent of an Anderson Cobra with a short scale, and we did this to see what it might end up sounding like. At the time (about 1996), we used a 1993 MIM Duo Sonic as the starting point because (and I consulted a prominent vintage dealer on this very question) I didn't want to hack up anything that people were going to consider "vintage"...laterallateral wrote:Good God, man...
