Correction: the HH Special is fitted with the wretched Dragsters (That's the one you tried at Steve's)
Classic Player Jaguar HH are fitted with Enforcers about which, I know nothing.
Ask Aen or that dude who's avatar is Teh Kursdtx. I think they're okay.

Buckle rash is damage to the finish on the back of a guitar caused by friction against the player's belt buckle. Cosmetically, the guitar is a natural "relic". But it plays like absolute butter. Sounds killer, too. I'm more into single coil Fenders these days, which is why I want to sell it. I forgot to mention before that it comes with the OG hardshell case, and has strap locks installed. Yours for $1000. You're welcome to come by and try it out.ultraviolence wrote: How much do you want for it? wtf is buckle rash?
I called archambault up like 2 weeks ago and they told me they had 0 jags & mustangs in all their stores, the dude could have just been an ass and lie to me though.

Hmmm, I don't think I'll get it just cause I'm not exactly sure if I wanna go and have a fight with my mom about buying a used guitar for 1 grandastro wrote:Buckle rash is damage to the finish on the back of a guitar caused by friction against the player's belt buckle. Astro & lateral, do either of you have any experience at dealing with salesmen at steve's & italmelodie? if so what would be the best way to go about trying to get them to lower the price?
and can you negotiate the price at Archambault?

Show your mom what 1977 Les Paul standards go for on ebay (completed items search). They sell for $1500+ in this condition. Or just lie and say you bought it for $200. Problem solved.
Almost all the gear I've ever bought has been used. I bought an $800 bass preamp at Steve's in the early 90's, the only other new stuff I've bought has been stuff like strings, strap locks, or other little bits and pieces, so to be honest I have no idea how easy it is to negotiate with these stores. I would imagine that the best way to go would be to find out which one has the lowest price, then see if one of the other stores will beat it, or offer other goodies (like a hard shell case) to sweeten the deal.

She won't care, she'll let me do what I want with my money, but more than likely it'll cause an argument. I'll try to see how she'll react to the idea :pastro wrote:ultraviolence wrote:Hmmm, I don't think I'll get it just cause I'm not exactly sure if I wanna go and have a fight with my mom about buying a used guitar for 1 grandastro wrote: Buckle rash is damage to the finish on the back of a guitar caused by friction against the player's belt buckle.
