Shortscale Guitar Dressing Room (feat DanHeron)

woah this is all fantastic... and that body with the neck and guard on looks amazing.

For now Im going to work on just the mustang shape body. Any guitar with the mustang shaped body can be added just by getting new pickguard shapes, bridges and decals etc. Then you can mix and match a mustang bridge with a duosonic pickguard and stuff like that.

When this is done i will do other guitar body shapes. They should be done more quickly as all the code can be copied and pasted from this mustang one.

Im back home on my PC, trying to start some of the coding stuff. I just layered some of the parts on photoshop and came up with this:

Looks good I think, besides the control plate photo i got.. will change that.

Also, I put a red body under the sunburst one. And then made the sunburst slightly transparent to create a Cherry Burst :

Right, so im working on the pickguards at the minute. I have figured out all the codes, now just to apply them to various buttons. I decided to use photos for all pickguard colours, including black white etc. I think it a)looks better and b)is easier to add teh codez.

Hopefully by later on I will put up the new development so you can change body and pickguard.

Also added a layer of 3d shadowing effect, makes it looks a bit better than a flat colour on the body.

UPDATE!

Adding these photo's is a lot easier than I expected!

So far I have added most of the images people have put up:

PG - Pearl, Tort1 and Tort2

Bridge - Mustang, Mustang Relic

Body - Sunburst, Cherry burst, loads of solid colours.

About to add the rosewood neck and maple headstock. Will also add a button for matching headstock. Then I will upload it so people can see how it is so far.

You see what the power of shortscale can do? Just from a guy making a banner (which is awesome) we get talking and look how far we've come in a day.

SO FAR:

About 50% of the body colours work, all the solid colours. Number 00 is sunburst, and 31 is cherry sunburst.

The guards all work. The black and off white ones are just me testing the vector code, rather than using photos but if we can get photos they look well better.

The bridges should work.

The headstock works, but the matching one goes straight to black - will try and fix that soon.
