Right, I've been buggering about for a while and I think I've found the bad valve. Both channels are working properly now :D Also noticed for the first time (weirdly, as I've often had a look about inside the amp) that the stock EL84s are made by EHX. Cheers, Mike! :D I'll give it a couple of days and several plays before I definitely say it's right, but if so after that what'd you want doing with the other valve you sent me, Mike?

No. Warranty now.BobArsecake wrote:Fuck's sake. I've just put all the stock valves back in and it's working like normal again Yeah, I think it needs a proper look at.
Edit; no it's back to humming, but on one channel :/ channel 2 is fine now. I think the next step before warranty would be just to replace all the pre-amp valves?

Just find the customer support number. Tell them that it's not working properly and that you want it fixed.
From my experiences (not with amps tho) they will usually just send you a new unit instead of making you wait for repairs.
Other times they will tell you to take it to an authorized service place to have it fixed and the bill will be sent to the company.
