I'm looking to get a guitar repair book for some light reading/introduction into doing some future work on guitars.
Anyone own or reference either of these books?

The Guitar Player book is good. I have it. Make sure you get the 3rd edition though, I got the 2nd ed because I was unaware there was a third.

Seconded - I've got the Dan Erlewine book, and it's pretty handy.

Definitely another vote for the Erlewine book. I have the second edition, and it's been a great teaching resource as well as a handy reference guide.

Dan Erlwine FTW.
I had the second edition, which rocked. I've recently upgraded to the third edition, which is even better.

+1 everything I've learned about guitars I've learned on the internet.
nothing from a book.
If you're building a guitar, I would suggest a book.
