This is an old Gibson from about 71-73, serial number dating is fucked for this time period, I read that these could have indian or brazilian, and it makes a $1000K difference in value. This guitar is worth buying if its brazilian, I needs to know.
thats pretty hard telling by just that photo.
i don't think it is tho.
all the reall brazillian peices that i have seen that large have more color change and the grain is usually not that straight even when its a perfect qtr sawn cut.
Kool. I didn't think it was either, as pics of older models that do have brazilian rosewood have a solid back...but I don't care anymore as I've obtained a 1968 Country Western acoustic!
