Elixirs suck. I break them like little kids toys.

I used DAddario EXP's or regular Daddario 13 or 14 guage if I am broke.
They say great minds think alike....Sometimes we do too...

I only tried them fairly recently and I quite like them. They feel a bit greasy with the finish they put on them but no doubts they last a lot lot longer than normal strings. About twice as expensive mind.
