All the kids who were 13-16 during Nirvana's heyday are now 30 and finally have a stable job and probably a bank account. They want to buy a piece of their youth and are willing to pay out the ass for it.

It's the same reason '50s LPs and strats ballooned in value when the baby boomers reached retirement.

i think that its rich kids that are discovering "grunge"
