Well isn't that what the thread is about? I stated that I wouldn't buy one. i didn't say anything personally about the guy, or his company. I am actually a fan of his other pedals.

Profit is a very vague word in situations like this. I think almost any business, even small ones, would include the full cost of production (which would include labour) in the profit calculation.
