Also love that matching stock on the red body with white guard, invokes old-school cheapo vibes of supro/airline etc.. while bringing the shortscale class.

Actually the finish on the Mercury wasn't bad at all. Just not fully cured much like hurbs guitar won't be.

cheers mate, It is by far my best finish I have done, that is a combination of experience and the actual product I was using. I have learned allot from this project alone so the next should be better or at least easier to complete.

If a guitars paint is not cured it should not be sent out it will get fucked up. the amount of time that had passed the paint should of been long since cured though, unless they used some real shit paint.
