first thoughts. It wasn't as much of a tinker to setup as I thought it would be! after a bit of back and forth I think I have it setup fairly well(could be better but I got bored) Is it worth it? probably not but it does make some interesting sounds you cant do with your hand. in fact to compare it with palm muting is bent because it s way different. got some sitar sounds too way cool.

I am chuffed to have it on my guitar though thanks dino!!! total star.
I am packing you stuff out today I didn't have time yesterday. cheers mate.

Take it off.

Look at it. Come on, you're tempted to take it off aren't you? Of course you are.

I just couldn't get my mute set up, it just didn't want to reach the strings no matter what I did.

I think they look better without, but if you can actually get some cool sondz out of it then all the power to ya.

He clearly doesn't, have you seen his threads about busted-ass women?

There's so much going on here that it's hard to know if the mute looks good or not. sunburst, the worn off paint, jaguar chrome, tort guard, so many switches, blocks and binding, pole pieces. It all adds up to being a very visually busy guitar, and the mute only adds to that.

Obviously with the mute it matters how it sounds rather than how it looks, but I can't decide if I like the look.

For me it completes the look of the jaguar. without a mute the jaguar always looks like it's missing something to me.
