Me either man, let me know when you get it and what you think of it.Chicago Mike wrote:Super!! Can't wait till it arrives.
Some details:
1. Comes with a battery installed.
2. Input jack is on the right as you look down on the pedal, output on the left
3. Battery is only connected when input jack in the pedal, so remove when not in use
4. Can be powered by a regular boss adaptor but not daisy chained
Fuzz - the amount of Fuzz
Bias - when turned off is out of the circuit and pedal behaves as a classic Fuzz Face. When raised this reduces the input signal to tighten up bass response or give you crunchy overdrive sounds
Contour - when turned off is out of the circuit and the pedal behaves as a classic Fuzz Face. When raised this increases the mid content of the signal and adds tons of glorious harmonics. This is my favourite control
Volume - makes the pedal louder or quieter, start at 1 o clock.
Basically have fun, you can get all sorts of sounds with this thing. When replacing the battery if necessary, unscrew the backplate and remove. gently unplug battery from snap and remove. Replace with new battery keeping hold of the foam which holds the battery in a VICE LIKE GRIP. When inserting new battery, wedge it with the foam. Replace backplate and screws.

Haze I drilled your case last night and will prime and paint it tomorrow.
I don't think there is room on top for decals for the Gain, Presence and Volume controls along with the face decal, I might put them on the back of the pedal though instead.
I found out what the Bluesberry mods are and made them to your board, it sounds great.

So another pedal enters the ring:
Haze - Hotcake, orange with yellow LED. Board built and tested, case primed, painted, decal'd and lacquered. Will build this weekend. $120 (as I recall)
dots - MuffCustom, metallic green with Blue LED, Board built. Will have added mid control and Diode/LED toggle. $120

Fucking awesome demo. Not only do you bust out lots of tasty tones and make it sound great, but it's really well produced, I love the cutaways to the equipment when you're chatting. Brilliant, you've done me proud!
GREEN DAY TONEZ
I think the pedal sounds the best with the Fuzz maxed out, but that's jjust my taste

i'm pretty proud of my first effort. but i'm bummed because i neglected to say that i really love the fuzz tone I get from it. in fact, it's so good, it could end up replacing the actual OD tone of my amp in live situations...i'm not kidding! i love it that much...the clean tone on my amp is amazing...the dirt just sounds a LITTLE to harsh and brittle. but the twatbox really helps that.Mike wrote:Fucking awesome demo. haha.. nice one. I'm really glad you like it. Seriously - nothing makes me more happy than when someone I build a pedal for is happy and satisfied with it.
I tested your brothers tweaked out Big Muff board today, it all works great and I've tweaked it to sound really fun I think. Hopefully it should be another hit.
