My homegirl HVM already knows about this, but i've started a recording project called The Sun Crusher. A balls to the walls aggressive angry fuckin distortion buffet.
si i finally got to demoing some shit. it's a modern reinterpretation of the blues called Predatory Bedroom Behavior. Any input is ppreciated, including lyrics and instrumentation.

INteresting approach, but I'm kind of going with sexual lyrics form myself and a few other sources.

If all blues type stuff sounded like this I would own several signature strats and a Dr Z amp. It's almost like a sales pitch for dwarfcraft. Awesome tones.

I know you just traded your bassman with robert, but did you use a Fender amp to do this? You have a Fender combo right? HRD or twin I think.
Anyway, this is what a Fender sounds like with great dirt pedals.

Actually it's all POD'd and i think it sounds awful. well, maybe not awful, but not like it's supposed to. I used a twin type and a champ type model adn also a "tube preamp" model. When I get to, Ill be tracking this shit with either
a) broken washburn practice amp
b) Twin reverb into mystery 15" cab

I quite like the sound. It sounds very close mic'd but it works well enough. It probably benefits from the drum loop being full of reverb and that to loosen it up a bit.
