It's not finished but have a play with this. http://imgboot.com/images/DanHeron/mustangbuilder2.swf

Download a copy of Gimp. It's free and apparently does the photoshop type thing quite well.

i'd love a 54 gibson les paul goldtop with wrapover bridge or bernard butler's 355.

fender wise, my sonic blue strat was kinda my dream guitar. i always wanted one after seeing george harrison playing one. having said that, one day i will own either a black jazzmaster with gold anodized plate or a cream strat or tele with a gold plate.

Honestly I feel like I own my two dream guitars, my Ovation Tornado and my Gibson Les Paul studio. I've owned many guitars (over 20 at least) that have been bought, fixed up, destroyed, sold, traded, parted, etc, but these two are definite keepers. Just have to find the ideal bridge pickup for the Ovation and I'll be set (I love the GFS brooklyn in the neck, but it doesn't work so great for the bridge position, so I'm thinking of having my Phat Cat put in the bridge).

I am however picking one of these up soon after the holidays, maybe it'll be my dream guitar, maybe it won't be. It certainly looks like it stacks up well on paper.Image

Thanks for the link james, you know any other ones? (for other guitars)

If I had either of these I would own my dream guitar.

I would have pearl dot inlays though.

It's not so much the green, man... It's the antigua guard AND the green AND the switch on the upper bout.

You know when you cut your yourself really bad and you put a plaster on it and then, a few days later you
go swiming in a over-cholrinated public pool and only after spending a few hours macerating in there you
remove the plaster and get a look at your wound for the first time?

That's what your guitar does to me.

I originally had a black guard on it, but then tried out the antigua and I liked it :p.

The switch I only put there cause I can't seem to find standard mustang switches on the site james posted

I can't remeber ever getting a bad cut, and I hate swimming so no...not at all.

That thing is sweet! What kind of body/neck/pickups/etc are we talking about here?
Also I'd also like to add that along with an SG standard w/ maestro I wouldn't mind a decent cutaway sunburst Larrivee to replace my D-02.
That would be effin sweet.

i must hold my hand up and say that mayer is a little bit of a guilty pleasure. but it's mainly his live work i like, he has got some really nice chops on that strat.
