Setting up a jazzmaster

Post by nomorebridge »

Mine buzzes like a fucker a got it off the bay a while back and didn't really bother to get it setup pro as I couldn't afford it.... but now I broke a string so I would kinda like to get it sorted out..... is there a way to reduce the buzzing without putting a buzzstop, or is a buzzstop a really good idea.....

If you've never setup a guitar before I imagine the Jazzmaster is a tough place to start....or is it easy?

Does this blog cover all the basics or is it a seaming pile......

further to that..... Is their anyone who is an ace Jazzmaster 'setter upper' in the South of England you've been to/know?

I'm an ace setter upper in the South of England, but so can you be. I've always rated the setup tips here.

A mustang bridge is an easy fix. but the proper bridge works fine with a setup. don't give up.
