Ha Ha....

I was offline for a couple days and this got pushed to a second page...... I just now found it due to the other thread.

The amp is cool as shit except for the whole tube issue...Whenever I turned either the tube selector or the wattage I got a hissing sound. It was a floor model at guitar center so I assume it was just messed up there on the floor.

The cleans are nice and bright.... and it has more headroom that the tiny terror...
I never got the chance to really turn it up real loud as I took it back after a couple days. The overdrive on it was really nice though. Not quite as thick as the Orange, but really nice.

I got the impression that having the tube switching, although subtle, would make this amp awesomly adaptable to different pedals and guitars. It just seemed to give you alot of control over the feel of the amp more than the actual tone of it if you know what I mean... Hopefully I will have it along with the classic vibe tele over at ALBQ along with your pedals (Dots has them right now to mess around with while I am ampless) for everyone to dick around with.. Hurb will be able to give you a good review of it all....

ALso, I think I now want a green muff like DOTS...That demo was awesome. It might have to wait until after xmas though as I still need to send Hilary monies and renew my kids disnleyland passes as an xmas gift.....

Wicked thanks for the information mate, will be really keen to hear how the new one sounds also.

Have you managed to give the pedals I built you a run through yet? Were they OK?

I've got the chance to mess around with them and they sound great, but have been waiting until I get a amp setup that is actually mine and dialed in to do a full "review"

But, yeah they both work great. The lovetone one has interesting characteristics.... Again, can;t wait to get a real amp again and give them a go with a band around and everything.

Yeah the COT50 is cool, the tone control is really unique, I like. Glad they're cool, and it'll be good to hear more feedback. As regards the Big Muff, you know where I am, just give me a yell, would be more than happy to make you one at some point - it's another fun pedal.

I only found out a couple days ago that COT stands for Church Of Tone, which is the most corksniffer tone quester name for a pedal I have ever heard.

Analogman makes the KOT too, which is King Of Tone.

It should just be called the MBB, because that's exactly what it is: Marshall BluesBreaker

I got to play on the Egnater. It's an awesome amp. Extremely flexible.
