Are there any ethics behind the PCBs? I know the guys who make the Monomes get the boards source with the minimum of environmental impact and so on.

About $110 for 66 boards, plus the designer's fee. Not too bad per unit. There won't be nay price increase or anything, the time saved should be well worth it. Plus now I get to use those cute little standoffs adn look all suave on the gutshots.
