Mostly OG. Not bad. How do you eat holes in the frets like that?

Termites in the fretboard?

Those can't be the OG tuners, since they have chrome buttons.

I love how the seller has a picture of a compstang with the words "guitar could look like this"

Well if you are bidding on it I won't fight against you for it, but man, that looks great.

yeah it looks pretty awesome, no idea about whats up with that fret board though.. i wonder what could be done with it.

those tuners look like they came off of something else.. as like rob said, not white buttons..
if i get this, i'll have to find some white button tuners..
i also appreciate the bro love in the not bidding against.

Big bidding frenzy at the end. How would someone go about fixing the fretboard?

It's just finger wear... the owner probably had long fingers nails !!

It's just most noticeable without strings...

... most well played vintage instruments will look similar.

Shouldn't think it would cause issues with playability.

it doesn't affect the playability, i have played a few gauged out boards before and if anything after 15 mins you don't even feel it.
not as crazy as a scalloped neck or anything.

+1, my jag has a nasty dig between the 2nd and 3rd frets that appears somewhat like the one on the 4th fret of this guitar, and I didn't even notice until I decided to specifically clean the fretboard one day, removing all the strings. I always forget it's there until I see a guitar with a chewed up fretboard.

My AV Strat LOOKS like it has fingerboard damage but it's just sweat, grime and nitro working together to help me meet women.
