it would be nice if they took the focus off of the sig series strats for a couple months and tried to create something new, like the t-90 or whatever, the semi hollow double cut with p-90's that was a pretty cool design but i never got to play one so i have no idea what they are actually like.
yeah its a great design with not many flaws but they just need to give it a rest do something new or bring back something we havent seen in 30+ years

It's probably just me, but I find the strat really un-comfy. The upper bout is just so... big.

a hollowbody series.
It would be cool if Fender reissued the Bass V, but they'd have to do it with a low B string. It only has something like 15 frets, so bass shredders wouldn't like it (not a bad thing).

your saying if they reissued the electric xii you wouldnt buy one?
Well, if it was japanese or mexican I might be able to some day, and yeah, I would love to play it, but I'm not liek "jonesing for it" I'm fine with the strat XII. IN fact, it is giving me a boner.

Think about this yo. Why would they dump a bunch of money into a restarting product that bombed? I have htis pedal, the Defiance, which is in my opinion worlds ahead of it's big brother, The Power struggle. TPS sold liek hotcakes, Defiance, uh, didnt so much sell. So I said, fuck it, we're going back to Power Struggle.

In twenty years if theres 11 crackpots on a messageboard going "oh, dam RI THE DEFIANCE! SO PRETTY!" Will I? No, because 11 units wold be a pain in the ass, especially since in Fender's case, 3/4 o the people rallying for the reissue will find some unforgivable flaw in the RI and swear off Fender forever. Case in point: Classic players Jags and Jazzmasters. for that matter, the Japanese import series from 03. Musicians friend ended up blowing htem out for like $300. I got mine off the sales floor where it had been resting in 2006. Three years on the floor. That same shop just sold the last jag form that import last month. 5 fucking years on the floor.

Yeah, lets reissue something even wierder. From a buisiness standpoint, it makes no sense.

I used to look at those and think "what a stupid design"....

But now that I don't have a bass, and would want something that didn't take up a lot of space and still sounded like a bass, I would buy one in a heartbeat. If it were a squier and under $180
