Fender Katana/Performer

Does anybody remember the Katana or the Performer? Ive never seen one in person, only in books, but they look like cool guitars....anybody own one?

aside from pickups i think i like it.
first time i see this. obviously never seen in person either.

I like Performers but you'll struggle to get one for under $1000 in good condition, i think they were only made for two years then discontinued. The Katana was a bit like a Jackson Rhoads, my mate had one and it was pretty awful. Still, they are quite rare and command more money than they deserve imo.

Theres a French dude on the fender.com forum that owns about 6 Performers, other than that i dont remember anyone owning one.

i have played two
one was a legit preformer at the chicago music exchange, the other was a copy that a 70 year old electronics engineer made from scrap wood.
i liked the copy more than the og.
but the bridge intrigued me, i remember that.

That looks more like an OTM or something, the other pointy thing is more pure green like emerald.

They had one at my local music go round a while back. I didn't like it... but it was cheap and looking back I wish I had bought it as an investment.
