I got myself a Classic Player Jazzmaster

High quality, low popularity Ecstatic Fury
i think its because they just started the line and they havent had enough time to really run with it...Rashomon wrote:So the next question, is why don't they make the Classic Players with matching headstocks
in a way i think that this year was a concept year to see how well the idea would take off
maybe next year theryll be more colors and options.
i know...the LPB blue with matching headstock was what was cool about that jag earlier todayRashomon wrote:Could be -- I hope so. I have played Classic Players both Jaguar and Jazzmaster and enjoyed both of them. I also think Fender probably wants to keep the matching headstock rare/desirable so they don't want to just slap it on every guitar they make.

it got here on Christmas eve but there haven't been much clear/non raining days so i got what i could.
I may retake them if a sunny day makes a difference. Also no video demo yet unless you all want to hear it through a Marshall MG amp. I'd prefer to put it through the valvestate which is at brambleperro's house.
Overall I'm very happy with it, the sound is amazing and I don't think I've played a more comfortable guitar.
