I got myself a Classic Player Jazzmaster

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

So the next question, is why don't they make the Classic Players with matching headstocks :(

I agree here. The new jags/jazzys have really boring colors and stuff. I want a MIM jazzy or jag with matching and bound/block for 1K damnit...

i think its because they just started the line and they havent had enough time to really run with it...

in a way i think that this year was a concept year to see how well the idea would take off

maybe next year theryll be more colors and options.

Could be -- I hope so. I have played Classic Players both Jaguar and Jazzmaster and enjoyed both of them. I also think Fender probably wants to keep the matching headstock rare/desirable so they don't want to just slap it on every guitar they make.

I know to round out my dream guitar collection I want a Jag with single coils (my Jag has humbuckers) and a Jazzmaster, in Candy Apple Red and Lake Placid Blue, with matching headstocks. That would be so ridiculously awesome.

I may retake them if a sunny day makes a difference. Also no video demo yet unless you all want to hear it through a Marshall MG amp. I'd prefer to put it through the valvestate which is at brambleperro's house.

Overall I'm very happy with it, the sound is amazing and I don't think I've played a more comfortable guitar.
