Needs some advice on Mustang replacement pickups

Post by Chicago Mike »

Need some help ladies and gents...

The strat pickups in my Mustang are shit and I'd like to replace them with some true Mustang replacement pickups.

I've seen two so far in my research, Lindy Fralin and SD Antiquities.

Anyone have any others they know about or opinions about the Fralin or Antiquities?

IDK if the fralins are true mustang PUPs or not. They kindof look like a flat pole strat jobber with a different cover.
The Duncans are true replicas, so they probably sound exactly like the originals. Which is to say AWESOME.

I'd go with the Duncans.

Or just say fuck it and load that bitch up with hotrailz.

The sd antiquity 2's sound really good but pickups are all a matter of taste. I liked them better than stock though.

I dropped one in the bridge of my stang and it sounds great.
