Jag-Stangs are kinda like Courtney Love.
Heavy, ill conceived, and always broken.

a joke?
well, i think that if you were jumping aroudn the room and your j.s. broke, that sounds retarded, i have thrown my j.s. acroos several stage settings as well as during practice, always stays in tune, and it has always been a reliable guitar.
ask a few of the people that have seen mine in real life, it looks like its 30 years old or so, but its a fucking killer.

Despite the basswoods, the girth of the thing has to make it more difficult to break than a Mustang at least (ancient abused examples of which have cracked all over).

That pickguard looks really really nice! I think older perloid looks a hell of a lot better then sparkly white incandescent perloid.

the overall look of the 96 perloid vs. the re-issue is alot better too.
the 96 materially looks more natural and flowing, kinda like wood grain.
the newer stuff looks.... crushed, or something, more spuratic, and if i remember correctly there was actually like a square inch of material that was just plain white, but im not sure, fran can verify, i sold him the re-issue about 1 year ago or so.

Who me?
If I came across a left handed hell even a right handed one and it was cheap, I would buy it.
But no I don't have one.
