My Laney is an awesome amp of sorts. Just not AD30 awesome.

TV is half price of the amp. I'll still have the money for an Orange down the line if me and Tim find our feet.

Everyone who's suggested Orange is right. Tiny Terror or AD30 are both great for RAWK.

Just get used to twiddling your volume knob to get cleans.

It definitely sounds the right idea. The only thing I'm concerned about is the lack of an effects loop. I've got a Boss GT10 and have been using the 4 cable method to hook it up to various battered amps in rehearsal rooms.

I hope it wouldn't come down to gt10 vs amp.

AD30 is so great for RAWK, that distortion isnt even used anymore, just a booster. SOUNDS SO GOOD!
