I never go to JS anymore, but from what I remember back in the day, cross works slower than noho. I seem to remember somebody ordering a custom jag-stang from him, and that project lasting like 2 years, and last time I checked it still wasn't done.

i ordered a body from noho but can't speak for the quality as it hasn't arrived yet

basically in a nutshell,

With NOHO the customer service was very spotty and a couple products (pickguards if I rememeber, not finished guitars/bodies) were off a little bit.

More so than that, they got a rep for not taking criticism well and when you do business on a board like this, you have to expect that people are going to talk a little shit here and there.

Aug also like to drag SS drama to other boards (which most try to limit)

Also, drunken outrages and stupid comments were common.

No onr of these thing is unusual around here, but all of this going on turned alot of people here against NOHO. Some for good reasons, others just jumped on the bandwagon. Personally, I wouldn't buy from them but have nothing personally against them.

Aug also fucked me raw on a neck trade. First he sold my neck as soon as he got it. Yhen the neck he was supposed to make me had incorrect tuner ferrules in it. It was also more than 1/4" too thick, which in guittar neck terms is totally unplayable. Then he made me another one, also with the incorrect tuner ferrulles, and no tint, as we had agreed upon. On top of that the hwole process took about a year, maybe more.

holy shit!!!!! really? thats a ton of fucked up. ok well i guess i wont ask aug to make me that body, but i dont really know who else to ask. and god knows my retarded ass would fuck up anything if i had a saw or router in my hands haha.
