if it were vintage, and did not have a scalloped neck, and was like.... a couple hundered bucks, i would actually buy it and play it.

I watched a youtube "lesson" recently which was hilarious. He was playing these hideous neo-classical scales really fast and then a little bit slower.

It sounded like a ZX Spectrum flashloading.

Seriously though, does any one on Earth still listen to Ynqwiee? If they ever did to begin with? I'm guessing his entire income must come from royalties paid to him by Fender for all those signature strats.

I don't think I would have ever even heard of Yngwiee, or Eric Johnson for that matter, if it weren't for their Fender product endorsements. Why doesn't Fender actually try and find some musicians that people actually care about to endorse their products?

Can we never get our heads past personal opinions that Yngwie is a fag douche fat pedo racist swede that fret wanks and cannot write a song to save his life? Are we looking at a Fender Stratocaster or does his gut or ego obscure that?

I think the majority of sig guitars are bullshit to be honest, but i'll give this one thing, it offers something 95% of Fender Stratocasters dont = a scalloped fretboard. So for once i think his sig models are justifiable, BUT not this one with that price tag.
Personally i prefer the old burgundy Yngwie model with rosewood fretboard. But i would'nt turn my nose up at this fo' free. The relicing is nearly as big a bullshit job than the SRV sig.

That's like being good at shuffling cards really fast, though. He's shit as a guitarist. Being able to play fairly standard harmonic progressions doesn't make great music.

I don't like the pre-vintaged relic guitars that much. It just seems like a waste to me.
