I think it looks nice, the control plate kinda puts me off but I like the flow it has.

I bet it sounds good, not sure about the bridge though.

That really cool. I'd like to see Eastwood make it a production model.

Another 15 minutes at the drawing board and they'd have made something I'd buy. As it is it's nice looking but too many parts are just a little off.

So it's "supposed" to look like this?
In any case, I'd much rather have the wooden block bridge on this, than see them stick on a Strat bridge or TOM...
It'd look the part with a pickguard made out of some ridiculous, Italian vinyl pattern... Oddly the new one has that cheap guitar look... The old one doesn't.

i agree that sticking with the OG bridge is a good choice. too many reissues get stuck with TOMs or strats. like hags.
the rosewood slab bridge on my silvertone is identical, and OK. its not perfect, but these kinds of guitars are kind of about that. the softer bridge material and slighly out of intonationness gives the guitar a unique sound and feel.
you never see these go for less than 2g anymore. at least i dont. this is as close as most of us can get, and its not too shabby.

pickguard could be a little curvier where it meets the control plate.. but i love it.

It is just a prototype - might be better when released.
I'm glad they stuck with the wood bridge, though I'm sure most everyone will hate it IRL.

They did release a guitar like that already, years ago, and they stopped making it years ago.

Probably on-off switches, phase, and series/parallel. Either that or on-off, phase, and master off.
