Vintage jag tuners

Are these the same as what were used on a 62 Jaguar? I know very little about which tuners were used around then, the subtle differences, etc. If they are, I might think about buying them, if the price stays low.

they will fit, yes, but those are plastic button heads, found on the student models of the day,
I.E. musicmaster, duo-sonic etc

Oh, so the Jags and Jazzmasters had the metal ones? Gotcha. Thanks!

yessir, everything of that time frame was very black and white,
two types of tuners.
all metal inline klusons, vs. plastic button head inline klusons.
they have the same gear ratio, and are essentially the same tuner with the exception of the button.

Damn, those look great. Gotta keep a watch on the ebay I guess...my Jaguar has Sperzel locking tuners which are fine but I would prefer the originals I think.
