Five positions, two pickups...

Post by Jagermeister »

...only three combinations currently utilized (though due to my haphazard, temporary wiring quick job, those three combinations do cover four spaces on the switch

What would you do? What CAN you do?

I'm thinking about incorporating series together options, or both out of phase options, or both, though I've been told that to do that I'd need a super-switch... Which I don't have, but does sound cool.

In the meantime, anyone ever wired up a guitar like this and found something creative to do? Thoughts also lead me to adding capacitors/resistors for bright/dark modes... Throw some ideas (or better yet, schematics) out there

Precise guitar specs: Two JM pups, 5 way switch, one vol., one tone, one uhh jack...

Series and phase would be yr most versatile choices.

You would need a "super switch" to do it, though:

that beast is way beyond my brain capacity.

Yeah, trying to work it out on schematic myself was odd, til I was informed of the super-switch's existence

DAMN retarded money for that thing though

Someone tell me something else to do with this pitiful, $2 5 way.

EDIT: Ehh, it's on Guitarpartsresource for like half that... But still, I'd like to feel out what I can do with a normal, non-geek switch.
