Anything's possible. Fender didn't really have "stock" in the fifties; whoever was doing assembly just reached into a bucket of parts. A picture of the back of the headstock would help.

i'd pull the neck off and look for a date stamp on it
but yeah fender just used whatever was handy in the 50's to put things together.

Even though nobody here has any money, I GUARANTEE we would find it if you sold that guitar. I know I would be taking out as many credit cards as I could.

SWEEEET. I'll tell you the same thing I tell everyone. I may not have the money now, but give me 24 hours and I will find it. My passion for guitars supersedes any material boundaries.

shortscale classifieds is about bro deals and passing on savings.

if you want money ebay it. i wouldn't blame you really, it's a fucking lovely guitar but considering the huge steal you got theres a massive profit margin that can't be ignored.

yeah, the idea here is that if you get something cheap(like your duo)
and you play it for a year, then you pretty much have ot sell it on here for the price you got it, especially considering the price you got it for( you played it for a year for free!)
anything past that is past bro deals.
but that shouldn'nt discourage you from listing it.
