What sort of 'effects loop pedal' do I need?

Post by nomorebridge »

I'm really confused by all the configurations and how they work but I know what I want to do....

I have a clean only amp I want one loop which contains all my dirt/fuzz pedals.... then another loop that contains delay/modulation/reverb

So I can have 1. No loops on... clean tone
2. Dirt Pedals only on
3. Modulation section only on
4. Dirt and Modulation on together

Is that just Mike's Double Cheeseburger Loop, or am I still one loop short? I don't think I am but I'm not bright!

Cheers guys I just couldn't work out if your clean tone counted as needing a loop

But obviously if both loops are off your tone still comes out.... which is what I thought I just wasn't sure
