They say great minds think alike....Sometimes we do too...
Well, much appreciated. I "grew up" on telecasters, so my playing style goes all the way from tender lovin' to physical abuse, all of which the tele handles. now with a buzz stop and Mustang saddles, a JM can run the full fury spectrum as well.More Cowbell wrote:or aen. To knock the strings allover the place you must be trying to be Pete Townsend or Gary. I dont get it.
Or the nice new MIMs droooooolll....

Interesting Update on the Jag on Jazz bridge screwed thing..
I have emailed basically every reputable guitar repairer around here... They all claim the Jag IS the Jazz bridge.
I also Emailed Fender Australia who have been 10/10 with support on this, the tech guy claims that mustangs are not actually a great match on a Jazzmaster and that the only style bridge that would work on one would be the jag/ jazz bridge..
Its interesting because he said in order for the Mustang to work, there needs to be some body work on the guitar and pickup height adjustment..
PS: thanks for all the feedback on this, i freaked when i saw how many posts were on that topic. ( even if half of them were bickering
) it wasnt malicious which is what matters.
Thanks peeps.
