I just always yell at people to STFU and play a tele when they bitch about guitar set-ups. Just a joke.
im finding myself frustrated with the lack of inflection and nuance on the internet lately. its frustrating when my sense of humor relies so much on tone, you know?

anyhow, cheers!
Ditto...I knew the first post was a joke...I was just eggin you on...

or aen. He is in a league all of his own. Seriously he is epic.
Well, much appreciated. I "grew up" on telecasters, so my playing style goes all the way from tender lovin' to physical abuse, all of which the tele handles. now with a buzz stop and Mustang saddles, a JM can run the full fury spectrum as well.

Or the nice new MIMs droooooolll....

Interesting Update on the Jag on Jazz bridge screwed thing..

Post by liams_coke_dealer »

I have emailed basically every reputable guitar repairer around here... They all claim the Jag IS the Jazz bridge.

I also Emailed Fender Australia who have been 10/10 with support on this, the tech guy claims that mustangs are not actually a great match on a Jazzmaster and that the only style bridge that would work on one would be the jag/ jazz bridge..

Its interesting because he said in order for the Mustang to work, there needs to be some body work on the guitar and pickup height adjustment..

PS: thanks for all the feedback on this, i freaked when i saw how many posts were on that topic. ( even if half of them were bickering :) ) it wasnt malicious which is what matters.

Thanks peeps.
