Got the Saltbooster this morning...
Excellent job Mike, it looks even sexier IRL...
I've just been putting it out thru the champ 600 I picked up last week and getting some awesome tonez...
Well happy with it, thanks again mate...

Benecol
- RAT2 modded
- LM308N chip socketed
- Toggle for LED/diodes
- Toggle for Reutz cut

ProgRockAbuse
- Saltbooster - add toggle for "thinner" sound, change LED to blue
- Box Of Mike - replace board - change LED to blue

They got here fine thanks Rob, the Box Of Mike treble pot seems to be fucked so I'll replace that at the same time as the board. I'm also going to completely rewire your Saltbooster as it was one of my first and I'm a lot better now than I was then.

would the treble pot be causing the problems it had? it was just so weird. still, can't wait to get it back. could you sign the box of mike? forgot to ask at doogfest. so in years to come i can put it on ebay with the heading "original box of mike prototype, hand made by marshall CEO Mike "THE ROCK" Livesley!" haha.. sure. I can sign it. Do you want the Face Decal aswell?

The Treble pot is in the line of the signal from the Board to the output so yeah it could fuck it up. I had to reuse a pot from my Tele Deluxe on it since I had no pots at the time so it could just be cheap and dead. Rest assured it's getting a full make over. I have a brand new working board for it and will replace the treble pot and anything else that needs replacing.

The Saltbooster I'm going to make beautiful too like I did Doog's when I added his tone pot. Yours and his were the first two before I started using solid core wire which is a lot neater.

as long as they both have there mojo arrows intact or tripled like you last post, then all is good.

the face logo rocks, maybe my next order will have one. unsure yet, but thinking along the lines of a treble booster.

Do you want me to leave the top of the Box Of Mike as it is then and just sign one of the sides (there's velcro on the base)?

I could also add decals for the controls if you wanted them or leave it as is. All Mojo will be intact, I'm just sprucing them up.

it's your call man, I'll do whatever.

Let me know what you want:

Face decal on the top of the pedal? Yay or Nay?
Control names on the top of the pedal? Yay or Nay?

Where do you want the signature?

yes to both, with signature under face decal? if it wont fit, one side ala zvex pedals.

indeed.

James, Tim - I received the RAT and wandered over to the lab and drilled it for the two toggles.
