You know you're no longer working class heroes when...

Huh? Oh. no. Turner and Cook from AM. If I owned a vintage Jazzy or a Starcaster, you would have heard about it a lot louder and a lot more often :(

haha. I was gonna say - their hair is all big, it's hard to tell who they are these days.

I liked the MIM Strat & Telecaster sounds on the first record to be honest, mass produced Oranges and Voxes the amps of the day.

Yeah, I know where you're coming from. Do you think that's maybe because it's closer to what our own equipment sounds like?

I'll give Turner credit, he does have terrific taste in guitars!

Hmmm, I think I preferred his Bronco. But I do love the Starcaster.

Well, it was seeing him play that Bronco at Glastonbury, that first sparked my interest in them as a band. I was kind of aware of them before, but they shot up in the interest stakes after seeing him play MY bronco. I was like HEY, look, the lead singer is totally playing my guitar! I can confirm that this interested exactly no one amongst my friends, or indeed anyone else within earshot.
