Reissue Mustangs: which neck width?

C shape is different. they mean the curvature of the neck rather than the width at the nut.

C shape has nothing to do with an A neck or B neck

don't they put out fender catalogs over there?

i mean i know they don't know, but like all the ones i have saved from around 1998-2006 all have detailed descriptions of thier necks, how they are made and the differences between them.

im pretty sure that without fender frontline catalogs i never would have gotten into the whole tech/nerd part of guitar playing. i just would have played it like it was any other instrument that i picked up. I still have those things sitting in the bathroom to look at while im taking a shit.....like 10 years of 1000's of fenders to look at

actually after posting 2 snotty replies i went back and read what i typed and how you replied to it for serious this time.

i made a post about loving fender frontline catalogs because they have lots of nerdy info in them and you replied asking about how people are supposed to figure this out on thier own.

i figured shit out on my own. its possible to do

Thanks.. That is a vintage neck right? If so, I know what to look for if I ever want an A neck. But originally, I was trying to find out if any reissues had A necks.

I just spoke to a seller of a '69 reissue, and he assures me it's a B neck.

It doesn't matter who preferred what neck shape or nut width. It all depends on what you play better with.

Based on my original thread starter, I'm trying to find out which reissue mustangs have which necks, so then I can compare say an 'A' and 'B' neck for reference.

I know for one I like thin necks (ESP Thin U for example), and hence I would like to try an A if I can find one.
